Having a voice in a company and being able to see my impact is truly a feel-good type moment. Being able to share my knowledge, ideas, and skills throughout all the teams at rootshare makes me feel like a cool-girl.. yep, that’s right- I feel cool! I love that I get to see my skills, my designs, and my creativity come to life and I can’t wait for more. See how I have gotten rootshare organized and on a better communication schedule!
Branding & Marketing
Being at a start-up, you constantly have to be adapting. Things are continuously changing and you have to know when it’s time to step up. That is exactly what I did! I saw the opportunity to fill the gap in the marketing and branding team and stepped up to the plate! I revamped the logo, updated the colors, and helped morph the look, feel, language, and tone that rootshare has become. See how I have helped shape rootshare!
UX/UI
I am currently the Lead UX designer at rootshare alongside one other team member. We are currently creating wireframes and re-working the entire site’s visual and user experience design. Re-creating a whole technological, university-focused platform is a lot of pressure but I have always been up for a challenge! We hope to launch the site in the next few months, but in the mean time check out some of our low-fidelity mockups!
